For recent years, including 2025-26, Lotteria Italia has been combined with the Rai 1 television program 'Affari tuoi'.

How much does it cost to participate in Lotteria Italia?

For the 2025-26 edition, a Lotteria Italia ticket costs €5 and can be purchased both online and at authorized sales points.

What is the minimum age to participate in this lottery?

As with every lottery held in Italy, to participate in Lotteria Italia you must be 18 or older.

What are the prizes in Lotteria Italia?

The grand prize is €5 million. The amounts of the other main prizes and lower-tier prizes may vary. In the January 6, 2025, draw, the second prize was €2.5 million, the third prize was €2 million, the fourth prize was €1.5 million, and the fifth prize was €1 million.

Many other lower-tier prizes are also awarded, with amounts determined on the day of the drawing. Additionally, daily prizes are awarded during the television broadcast associated with Lotteria Italia, which can be worth €10,000 or €20,000 (see the How to Play page for more details).

How do you claim Lotteria Italia prizes?

To claim a prize, you must present the original winning ticket - intact - to:

  • The National Lotteries Prizes Office, Viale del Campo Boario, 56/D - 00154 Rome;
  • A branch of Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, which collects the ticket and forwards it to the Prizes office in Rome.

How long will it take to receive my prize?

Prize payments are usually processed within 45 days of the prize being claimed.

How long are Lotteria Italia tickets valid for?

Prizes for all draws can only be claimed within 180 days of the publication of the official Lotteria Italia bulletin. After this deadline, prizes can no longer be claimed.

What happens if I lose my Lotteria Italia ticket?

If you lose your Lotteria Italia ticket, even if it's a winning one, you sadly won’t be entitled to claim your prize anymore. You must be in possession of an original, winning ticket, and it must be in legible condition.
