If you win the grand prize on Win for Life Classico, you'll be entitled to €3,000 per month for the next 20 years before tax (prizes are taxed at 20% excluding the first €500, which leaves winners with €2,500 per month after tax).
Of course, there are plenty of other prizes available. Fixed percentages are used to determine how much each prize category is allocated, and prizes are awarded on a pari-mutuel basis (total prize pool for category ÷ No. of winners per category = individual prizes), so the values differ from one draw to the next. The only exceptions are the grand prize (Categoria Win for Life), the category immediately below it (the Prima Categoria), and the Match 7 / Match 3 prize (Settima Categoria).
This second-place prize functions like a jackpot in practice, increasing in value for each draw that passes without it being won. This is unlike the other prize tiers, where the entire pool is paid out for each draw. It can be won by matching 10 main numbers, or 0 main numbers for €2 plays. It's not widely advertised, but if a player wins the €3,000 annuity, they also take home the Prima Categoria as a one-time upfront cash prize!
As for the Match 7 / Match 3 prize, this is fixed at €2, and is paid first. All remaining money in the pool is divided among the other prize categories according to the percentages shown in the table below. In the rare event that there is not enough money in the fund to cover all the €2 prizes, a secondary list of percentages is used to divide up the prize pool.
